Freedom Heating & Air’s Compassionate Mission Warms Hearts This Winter
Dallas, February 2024 —
Freedom Heating & Air LLC has embarked on a heart-touching initiative to kickstart the new year with compassion. In partnership with Trane, as esteemed Trane Mitsubishi Dealers, and through their impactful Do What’s Right Program, we are thrilled to share a tale of warmth and generosity.
We began the year with a very special project. This project involved the heartfelt donation of a free heating and cooling system to someone facing challenging circumstances. Moreover, our hearts led us to Mrs. Shirley Evans, a resident just south of Dallas, Texas. She found herself amid a freezing winter with a broken heater during January’s winter storm. Indeed, the situation was dire, with Mrs. Evans relying on electric heaters to brave the cold alongside her two cherished dogs.
Mrs. Evans reached out to us seeking assistance to repair her malfunctioning heating system. However, after our team conducted an inspection, we discovered that her HVAC system required replacement. Mrs. Evans expressed her worries about the financial burden of installing a new HVAC system since she was on a fixed income. She was concerned that purchasing a new system would strain her financially. Our Freedom Heating & Air team recognized the urgency of her situation and was determined to help her.
We assisted Mrs. Evans through our association with Trane and their “Do What’s Right” program. It is important to note that Mrs. Evans’ late husband was a retired veteran who served in the Marine Corps. He later was in the Navy Reserve. Mr. Evans later served honorably as a Dallas County Sheriff’s Deputy and was on the Dallas County Community College police force until retirement. Recognizing her service connection, we felt a deep sense of gratitude for the opportunity to give back to a deserving individual. Our sales and installation team promptly coordinated the installation of a new HVAC system to ease Mrs. Evans’ concerns. We installed a brand-new Trane XR14 Heat Pump system, transforming Mrs. Evans’ living conditions. As a result, we were able to bring warmth back into her home.
Mrs. Shirley Evans’ story is a testament to the power of community, compassion, and collaboration. We express profound gratitude for the opportunity to give back to a deserving individual. At Freedom Heating & Air, we feel immensely blessed to participate in programs that allow us to impact the lives of those in need positively. Above all, we are proud to partner with manufacturers who make initiatives like these possible. Our team sincerely thanks our valued partners and vendors. Together, we look forward to continuing our mission of spreading warmth, comfort, and hope to those who need it most.
